Directly after breakfast we made our SY CESARINA rid of the Mooring and set course to Palmas del Mar. Here we wanted to spend a few nights in the Marina and explore by car inland.

The marinas in the east of Puerto Rico are all quite expensive :-(. We had opted for Palma del Mar, since even the email traffic had gone so friendly and pleasant. The depth of the dock in the marina was indeed for our ship to the lower limit, but had assured, it would already fit would. When we arrived at the Marina entrance in the early afternoon, piloted to us with precise instructions also very cautious in our Box, where we (naturally without grounding) lay securely moored by means of two cute little later employee. In addition to two large motor boats on the high ridges our Beautiful looked pretty tiny. The VIA moored at another dock shortly before us.

The marina is located in a huge resort with golf courses, Riding stable and everything you can imagine so. Already during the registration to our positive image confirmed. The lady behind the counter was very friendly. For all tips, they gave us personally or on the way, We received so many information brochures, that evening was first announced an extensive study :-). Zwei Gebäude mit Duschen und Toiletten befanden sich am Ende der Stege 🙂 und um den Luxus zu vervollständigen gehörte auch ein Pool zur Marina, with a direct view of the open sea.

So we spent the rest of the afternoon together with the VIA crew in the pool. Dietmar and Vincent refined their technique in mutual submersion :-). After such a long sailing day both were probably not particularly busy. The rest did take it easy. The view was really nice overwhelm. Countless pelicans circled over the water. Refreshed we went after a warm shower shortly aboard for dinner. In the early dawn we moved off together, to explore the resort. In the immediate vicinity was the center with restaurants, Shops and a small supermarket. So we entered for sundowners and enjoyed again the significantly lower prices in connection with the typical American (friendly and fast) Service. Before we went back on board, we buy in the supermarket still a family pack ice, die wir gemeinsam auf der CESARINA um die Wette löffelten 🙂
