In the Caribbean – Endspurt

The last night has dawned. Morgen werden wir Saint Lucia erreichen 🙂 Unsere CESARINA gibt sich redlich Mühe und wir laufen mit sieben bis acht Knoten durch die tiefe Dunkelheit der Nacht. Our goal is tomorrow before nightfall the Rodney Bay Marina in the north of St. To achieve Lucia. It would be very unfortunate, when we the first Caribbean island after 3 May reach weeks at sea in the dark and see nothing of her beauty.

The last day at sea was a real treat. Sailing at its best with good 20 Knot winds and bright sunshine. All day long may only enjoy the mild climate and the harmonious movements of the ship in the sea. The grand finale then made dinner, Dietmar which has again drawn extra fresh for us from the Atlantic. Besser als mit diesem wunderbaren Mahi-Mahi kann die Atlantiküberquerung gar nicht zu Ende gehen 🙂 Es war übrigens schon der siebte Fisch auf diesem Törn!

In our case, we have also prepared the country we are already perfect. So was extensively showered in the cockpit. The captain drew his “Two weeks”-Bart mit dem Rasierer zu Leibe und sieht jetzt gar nicht mehr so gefährlich aus 🙂 Ich denke, wir sind soweit 🙂 Wir wollen endlich wieder festen Boden unter den Füssen haben, sleeping in a bed, what rocks not 30 ° to the right and left in peace and enjoy a meal, ohne dass sie dauernd versucht einem vom Teller zu rutschen 🙂

I will now push so long guard, until we 100 Miles below the target. I will not miss me. To have available a double-digit distance information to the plotter again after such a long time, is certainly a beautiful sight. Then I can with a clear conscience to climb one last time in my Schaukelkoje and me the target “against” dream. Tomorrow we will make ever Vessel, because at the finish line in Rodney Bay pictures are taken by the incoming yachts. Da wollen wir uns doch von unserer besten Seite zeigen 🙂
